Dances are usually on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month - with occasional exceptions or additions. See website https://www.urbana-contra.org.

Dances start at 8 P.M. and go to 11 P.M. unless otherwise noted.

Dances are held at the Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W.Stoughton, and the Channing-Murray Foundation, 1209 W. Oregon, both in Urbana.

Admission for most dances is on a sliding scale from $5 to $15, pay what you feel is right. A higher fee may be charged for special events.

All Ages (14 and under with adult) / Cost $5 - $15 sliding scale

Fun, energetic dances with great live string-band music. No partner or experience is necessary. Must bring an additional pair of clean, soft-soled shoes and refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
